We have had a hot month of June this year, but it has not stopped us serving different and interesting clients in our Bridal Salon. Every week we have had a couple of appointments. Thank God, most of them have been very successful.
Rada was here with her mother and friends. They all were very excited about the appointment. Rada tried on dozens of dresses. Four of them were chosen as good options to consider. The mother wanted the puffiest one. The friends had their opinions. It was not easy to make the decision but in the end Rada knew what she wanted. It was a new gown which we acquired from Germany about five years ago. Rada took also a shorter wedding dress for the dancing. We found a pretty veil for her and a pair of shoes as a gift from CFI.
Christine came to our place with some good friends and their little daughters. All of them were happy about the upcoming wedding. This was a special appointment, because that same morning there was a student from the university with us filming some material for her thesis. The theme was “a person with an interesting job”. I was that person ☺, but also my clients were all stars that day. It was fun. The most important thing was that we found very beautiful wedding dresses for Christine. She needs some time to be sure about her choice. Every dress is something different. I will see her again next week, I hope.
Tali came to our Salon with her friend who happened to be a new immigrant from Mexico. While seeking dresses for Tali, Miriam got a gift from our Start-Up Store and in the end she found also an evening dress for herself. Tali wants to check one more place and then come back to us, if needed. Her fiancé is a very religious man. The majority of our dresses don’t have sleeves and are too open for orthodox Jews. We allow our clients to make alterations to our dresses, of course, but it is sometimes difficult to find a good seamstress to do all of that. However Tali was grateful and glad about the opportunity to try on so many dresses. She will be the most beautiful bride in whatever dress. I can imagine her fiancé quoting these words from the Scriptures to her very often: “How beautiful you are, my love, how very beautiful!

May our lives and hearts be beautiful and attractive to our Heavenly Bridegroom. May our spiritual ears hear His gentle voice. In His love we all are secure.
